About Us
Bright Horizon - Combat First Responders (CFR) is a non-profit founded by veterans, dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the security forces.
We are a 'boots on the ground' organization, offering unwavering support to those who tirelessly protect our nation during combat and routine operations. CFR was born from firsthand experience, understanding the unique challenges and battles involved in military service. The idea for CFR sparked following the October 7th attack on Israel, highlighting the urgent need for dedicated support for our troops. Our reserve service after the attack opened our eyes to the broader needs of the military, leading us to expand our mission.
How We Support Our Troops
Community & Guidance
We build a supportive framework of belonging and humanity for soldiers, ensuring they never feel alone and know we are by their side throughout.
Physical Power & Healing
Through diving, therapeutic riding, and various workshops, we create experiences that help soldiers reconnect with their bodies and regain safety.
Emotional Recovery Support
We guide soldiers through PTSD recovery, providing the tools, spaces, and treatments needed to work, grow stronger, and find their inner balance again.
Our Projects
Born from the real needs of soldiers, our projects are designed to support the rehabilitation process and restore stability and security.
Insight Groups
A one-day program helping process service experiences through group discussions, emotional exercises, and relaxation.
Bright Track Trips
Multi-day outdoor journeys combining physical activity, dialogue circles, and shared challenges in an inspiring environment.
Empowering Families
Supporting the wives and families of soldiers by providing space, tools, and guidance, strengthening the home and family stability during complex times.
Field Logistics
Essential gear and emotional support for active soldiers. Fast solutions and personal guidance for those serving across all military units.
